Financeability standard
The “Investment Ready” label
A labelled file has passed the same checks an investment committee would run. The Label is awarded at the end of the Economic Passport, once the five criteria are green. For the company it is a clear target; for the investor, time saved and a documented risk.
What it changes, on both sides
For companies
A concrete target instead of a vague “you need to be ready”. You know exactly what stands between you and the label, in what order, and you meet investors with a file already verified by a third party.
For investors
A reliable first filter. A labelled file will not make the decision for you, but it will spare you the weeks lost on companies that were simply not in a state to be financed.
The five verified criteria
These are the five dimensions the Economic Passport verifies one by one, on documents and on site. The Financeability Index places you for free on the same five axes: the Index tells you where you stand, the Passport establishes it, the Label attests to it.
- 1
Formalisation & compliance
Registration up to date, tax and social obligations in order, separate business bank accounts.
- 2
Accounting & financial steering
Financial statements prepared, cash tracked monthly, margins known by product or service.
- 3
Traction & market
Activity documented with verifiable evidence, customer concentration measured, growth substantiated.
- 4
Governance & team
Capital formalised, shareholders’ agreement in place, roles defined, key skills covered.
- 5
Fundraising readiness
Business plan and forecast up to date, need quantified, use of funds detailed, leadership ready to be accountable.
How to obtain it
Position yourself
The Financeability Index gives you your score on the five criteria, free and in three minutes.
Take the test →Become legible
The assessment identifies what genuinely blocks you; our first line of services closes the gaps — accounts, articles, governance, a costed file.
The assessment →Get attested
The Economic Passport verifies each criterion on documents and on site: identity at the registry, accounts attested by an external chartered accountancy firm, activity observed.
The Economic Passport →Earn the Label
It is awarded once the five criteria are green, listed on our portfolio, shareable under a confidentiality agreement, and reviewed every year.
The award →What the label is not
The label attests to a level of preparation verified at a given date. It guarantees neither the company’s success nor any return, and in no case constitutes an investment recommendation — no label can, and being wary of those claiming otherwise is part of an investor’s job. It attests to one thing, precisely: the file is in order and the checks have been carried out. And because it bears on a situation that changes, it is reviewed every year and withdrawn, with reasons given, if the criteria no longer hold.
